Heat Recovery

Efficient heat recovery from wastewater for sustainable energy and cost savings. The Revincus systems utilize wastewater heat to efficiently recover energy and supply it back to multi-family homes and industrial processes.

Wastewater heat:
Energy Source of the Future – Sustainable, Cost-saving, Innovative!

Reduction of Energy Costs
Heat recovery reduces the energy demand for hot water preparation, leading to significant savings in energy costs and a reduction in CO2 emissions.

Innovative Wastewater Technology
Thanks to patented technologies, such as the K2 wastewater diverter, Revincus systems enable the use of wastewater heat even in existing buildings without the need for pipe renovation. As part of renewable energy technology, they are also eligible for up to 60% funding.

Wide Applicability
Revincus systems can be used wherever there is a demand for hot water and wastewater is generated – ideal for residential complexes and industrial processes.

Why do I choose a revincus system?

Reduce energy costs

Wastewater heat recovery keeps the heat in circulation & thus reduces your hot water costs.

Operate heat pumps efficiently all year round

Heat pumps become efficient year-round through wastewater heat recovery and the COP (⌀5) is significantly increased.

Quick Amortization

Within just 8 to 12.5 years Your investment in housing construction pays off.
Even shorter amortization periods are possible in industry and recreational facilities.

Economical from 20 people

Compared to other systems on the market, revincus offers a solution that already Economically feasible for residential construction from 20 people is.

Reduce CO² Emissions

Increase the energy efficiency of your buildings and industrial processes. Reduce CO² emissions by efficient energy technology!

Low Planning and Investment Effort

Compared to common methods, such as deep drilling or surface collectors, the effort to use wastewater as a heat source is low.

Our wastewater heat recovery systems are used wherever there is a demand for hot water and wastewater is generated.

Effective Energy Solution for the Future

The demand for renewable energy systems to reduce or even avoid CO2 emissions is rapidly increasing. Global goals, such as limiting global warming to a maximum of 1.5°C, underscore this necessity and the search for technological solutions. The EU's goal to be CO2-neutral by 2050 requires a radical shift in our energy consumption, away from dependence on fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources. To achieve these goals, solutions must consider existing building structures and energy supply systems to avoid gray emissions caused by renovations. An important source of CO2 emissions is energy generation, particularly for hot water, in residential buildings or in industry. Hot water generation incurs high energy costs for - typically - briefly used hot water, which is then discharged into the sewer system. Money that literally goes down the drain.

The solution: Wastewater heat recovery systems

But is it effective enough to extract energy from wastewater (e.g., greywater)? Yes, 100%! Greywater is the main component of domestic wastewater, accounting for 73% with an average volume of 70 liters per person per day. 70 liters of wastewater with an average temperature of 25°C makes it an interesting, largely untapped heat source that, unlike solar energy or air heat pumps, is independent of seasons or weather conditions.

By using our wastewater heat pump systems, the energy demand for hot water production can be covered 100% in many cases, representing a significant energy cost saving.

Heat Recovery from Wastewater with Wastewater Heat Exchangers

Our wastewater heat exchangers use the heat contained in the wastewater to feed it back into your heating system. This saves energy, reduces your heating costs, and protects the environment.

Your benefits at a glance:

  • Most efficient heat pumps using heat from wastewater.
Due to the high supply temperature from the wastewater, particularly efficient heat pumps (COP ⌀5) can be used.

  • Up to 65% eligible for funding.
Wastewater heat recovery can be credited towards the share of sustainable energy in your building

  • Wastewater heat recovery is efficient all year round.
High temperatures can be efficiently generated using heat from wastewater, independent of weather and season.

  • High temperature for drinking water.
The heating of drinking water and thus the high-temperature range can be efficiently covered with wastewater heat recovery. This opens the way to consider air-to-air heat pumps, low-temperature heating, or even infrared as building heating.

  • Economically viable from 20 residents.
    Applies to the living area.

  • Low planning and investment effort.
Compared to common methods, such as deep drilling or surface collectors, the effort to use wastewater as a heat source is low.
