Utilize wastewater heat in the swimming pool! 🏊‍♂️

October 2024

In October, Felix was allowed to give a presentation at the meeting of the TGA working group at the German Society for Bathing hold in Saarbrücken. The main topic was the integration of wastewater heat recovery systems in swimming pools. For your information: One cubic meter of swimming pool wastewater contains approximately 31 kWh of heat. This should be utilized! Our project engineer Nicklas has written an interesting article written for the specialist magazine "Archive of Bathing". This may be provided by us free of charge. So it's best to take the opportunity now 😉

Heat Pump Congress in Linz at Ochsner 🇦🇹

June 2024

Felix was allowed to give a lecture on the heat source wastewater at the heat pump congress of the company Ochsner. In our residential block project in Stadtroda, we provide hot water supply (60°C) using the Ochsner heat pump IWWHC P2d 30 and our heat exchangers ABW-PSW with a COP of 5.5. This proves that even high target temperatures can be efficiently provided with heat pumps (COP 5.5 means 1 kWh of electricity generates 5.5 kWh of heat). Unfortunately, the narrative dominates that heat pumps heat with electricity and are not suitable for higher temperatures. Both are not true.

Heat pumps primarily use energy from the environment, in our case from wastewater. It requires the collaboration of all parties involved in the major questions of transformation, whether in energy-efficient renovations in housing, in municipal heat planning, or in industrial transformation processes. We are firmly convinced that the heat pump will play a central role in this, ideally with wastewater as a heat source 😉

Many thanks to Bernd Lieber for the invitation and the joint appearance on stage. We look forward to further collaboration!

We did it 🥂 🎊

April 2024

Jakob and Felix presented at the pitch event of the get started 2gether In 2024, our AI solution for detecting gray and black water. We were able to convince the jury of our idea and received funding for this project. Together with the IAB - Institute for Applied Building Research Weimar GmbH with Dr. Jan Rybizki, we can now further advance this topic.

We are already looking forward to the joint project work. 🚀 The program get started 2gether is part of the FTI-Thüringen TRANSFER policy and a great support for startups in the field of research and development. 🙏

144 residential units in Stadtroda will benefit from hot water energy in the future

07.07.2023
Significant progress in our project in Stadtroda! A milestone was recently reached in the extensive energy renovation of the WBS 70 residential blocks: Our partner, Heizungsbau Kössel, successfully installed the revincus wastewater heat exchangers and wastewater diverters. By utilizing our innovative wastewater heat recovery technology, 144 residential units now benefit from energy derived from hot water. This measure is part of a comprehensive energy renovation and marks an important step towards sustainable urban development.

More details about this exciting project will follow soon!

Combination of Air Source Heat Pump and Revincus Technology in New Construction Project

03.11.2022

Near Dresden, an exciting new construction project is setting new standards in sustainable heat supply. Our innovative stratified storage wastewater heat exchanger was recently successfully installed there. Thanks to its special technology, this heat exchanger enables efficient heat transfer in different layers and temperature zones. Particularly noteworthy in this project is the combination of our wastewater heat recovery with an air heat pump. Both heat sources flow into a hygiene storage tank, providing efficient and environmentally friendly heat supply. We are pleased to be part of this innovative solution and are eager to see the results of this synergy!
